The Old Mill is in a great location beside the Grand Union Canal in Berkhamsted.  Its old mill-race thunders (or trickles, according to the season) over a weir and through the secret courtyard off the bar and the building retains the character of its Georgian & Victorian origins.

The Old Mill is part of Peach Pubs, a high quality gastro-pub group that has been striving to bring a warm welcome, good food cooked by proper chefs & well-kept beer & wines to pubs in market towns like Berkhamsted for over ten years.  In 2012, Peach's founders, Lee Cash & Hamish Stoddart, were awarded a Catey (the catering industry's Oscars) as Best Pub & Bar Group. 

The Old Mill remains a real pub, where you’re just as welcome to enjoy a decent pint of bitter at the bar or deli board as a fine three course meal.
